Optimal Performance Training (OPT)

The purpose of the OPT program is to improve your sustainability and in your sport by increasing your resiliency and capacity to withstand injury. In doing so we will also eliminate chronic nagging pain and significantly increase your performance.
Faulty movement, inadequate strength and/or a lack of mobility or integrated function are all factors that influence your joints, tendons and ligaments ability to accept the forces and loads associated with your sport over time.
Your body can get away with these deficits for a while, but when these things are lacking year after year injuries start showing up ( around 5-7 years into sport) and they do not go away with rest, casts or injections. It requires learning to move differently and applying that movement to your sport.
IDENTIFYING WHAT'S HOLDING YOU BACK IS THE BEGINNING OF MOVING YOU FORWARD!
So we evaluate how you move… your patterns..not just isolated joint or muscle function while sitting or lying down. Then we teach you how to move well and the progress to reinforcing these patterns with the adequate strength and endurance to increase you capacity to withstand the forces of your specific sport.
